Just as we change and grow throughout life, a business also changes and grows. Spiritdance Life Coaching is evolving and changing in 2018 with an increased focus on performance and sport coaching. But not only that!
2018 will be the year of joy and inspiration for Spiritdance!
The time has come to focus on the things that bring us all joy. Joy in small doses, days filled with joy, the joy of companionship with good friends, and the joy our dogs bring us.
2018 is a banner year for Spiritdance Coaching and Tracking. A long time ago I made a promise to myself that this year would be special. I will be the same age as my mother was when she died very young from cancer. In that year, 1995, I started Spiritdance Tracking as a way of keeping joy in my life amidst the sorrow of loss.
Suddenly, here I am. Here we are! I have been blessed with a circle of amazing people through both tracking and coaching. I am committed to doing all I can to offer my best to you.
In 1995 I started out as a humble tracking instructor. In 2013 I added goals to help others through Life Coaching. It’s been an amazing journey over the past five years of working with so many of you and identifying my gifts so that I can focus on offering my best to others.
Listening to the wonderful clients I’ve worked with over five years, what I hear loud and clear are is that people are looking for inspiration and motivation. Many of us have reached that time in life when we are enjoying hobbies, our dogs and more spare time! We’ve all been through careers, raising families, life struggles and health challenges. Who hasn’t?
To be an effective Coach, I looked deeply within to what I have to offer. I too have been through life’s stuff. I’m a little older and a lot wiser. I speak less, and listen more. My rewards are in knowing I have helped others to find the same kind of happiness and peace that I have, despite the fact that ‘life stuff’ never really ends.
Let’s do this! Or as they say in Alberta, let’s get ‘er done! I am re-focusing on the areas where I know I can offer the most value – on life coaching as it relates to habits of excellence that bring you joy, contentment, peace and fun! If this includes achieving some great tracking goals, even better!
The picture to go with this post is of me with my dog Caden just about to pass a TDX tracking test.
“TDX” stands for Tracking Dog Excellent. I think the ‘Excellent’ stands for excellent times together! I find so much joy when I train and take part in tracking, and when I help others do the same. Over the years my life coaching has evolved to focus more and more on combining coaching principles with achieving training goals – whether it is in tracking or in other dog sports that people enjoy.
Life coaching with a focus on performance and motivation can really help anyone with performance goals to be more holistic in their training approach and train with greater purpose and passion.
I am excited to officially declare this year of joy and inspiration and to continue on the path with the friends and clients I know, and to meet new people on the path.
